Matt was a 23 year old young man that grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and attended the Millard school district. He loved his friends and family and vacations to Colorado to travel the 4X4 trails of the Continental Divide. He was a son, a brother, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, and a friend to everyone he met.
On April 24, 2004 at 12:30 a.m., as he was walking home with his friends, Matt was struck and killed by a drunk driver. Matt and his friends had been celebrating his 23rd birthday ---he had just turned 23 years old at midnight. With him went his dreams and those of his family.
